The Society is proud of the range and interest of its lectures. Don’t miss out on forthcoming talks. Everyone is welcome to come to our talks – you don’t need to be a member of the Society! All our talks are on Thursday evenings at 7:30pm, in the Friends’ Meeting House in Cowl Street.

Our programme for the 2022-23 Season has just been announced

Our friends in the Vale of Evesham Civic Society are holding their own programme of talks in 2022. You can find out the details here

And you can read all about past talks – and there have been some splendid ones!

  •  2021-22 – because of the continuing restrictions, the first two talks used a hybrid format incorporating both a “live” meeting and Zoom. All the subsequent talks were “live” at the Friends’ Meeting House.
  • 2020-21 –  the season had a late start by the restrictions necessitated by the coronavirus outbreak, but started in January 2021 with a series of talks via Zoom.
  • 2019-20 – although the programme was curtailed, after the talk in February

Also, we organised a much-appreciated Local History Day School in 2014 – in support of the Evesham Abbey Bell Tower Appeal
